Dear Bariatric Patient:
As you are well aware, it is extremely important after any weight-loss surgery procedure to supplement your body with extra vitamins and protein. The amount of food consumed is substantially less after surgery, and with gastric bypass, not all nutrients get absorbed.
For your convenience, we stock a variety of protein powders and vitamins in our office. By doing this, you can be assured that these products have been fully approved by your surgeon and you do not have to spend time on the internet or in stores reading labels to try to find products that will fulfill the nutritional requirements recommended after surgery.
We are always looking for new products that taste great, are cost effective and meet patients’ needs. We are currently transitioning from the NutraMetrix isotonic multivitamin and calcium line to Bariatric Advantage nutritional supplements and protein powder. These products have been designed specifically to meet the needs of the weight loss surgery patient. We will be offering a variety of products in several different flavors.
